Peanut Butter Loaf

1 can tomato soup, undiluted

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 onion, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon sage

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup milk

1 cup or more bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix tomato soup and peanut butter well together.

Add onion, salt, sage, beaten eggs, milk and crumbs, enough to make a thick consistency.

Bake one hour in a greased loaf pan.

*I don't know where this recipe originally came from,

but my mother used to make it.

To me, it's a treat, but no one else in the family cares for it -

maybe you have to grow up with it, to like it??!
