2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
Sift the first 4 ingredients together.
Cream the next 3 ingredients together, then blend in the egg and orange rind. Stir the dry ingredients into the mixture. Cover and chill for 1 1/2 hours.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters, or a drinking glass dipped in flour.
Bake on greased baking sheets for 10 to 12 minutes. When cool, frost or fill with Orange Butter Cream.

2 cups icing sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange rind [or more]
Cream the butter, then gradually add the icing sugar alternately with the orange juice and orange rind. Spread on cooled cookies.
