Buttered Linguine

1 package linguine

1/4 to 1/2 cup softened butter (flavored Herb or Garlic works well)

Italian seasoning*

salt and pepper

grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta, drain and return to pot.

Add the butter and toss well.

*Season with Italian herbs (if not using the flavored butters) and the salt and pepper.

Sprinkle servings with grated Parmesan.
